As a SXSW Books member, you may receive a speaking slot at SXSW in Austin, TX. This entails a 45-60 minute slot to discuss topics either with a moderator or additional panelists with optional Q&A. Advantage will draft a speaking proposal for SXSW’s review and approval. Speaking spot is not guaranteed.
Member will have opportunity to attend 2-day Speaking CORE event at world-class speaking trainer HEROIC Public Speaking facility. This is an invitation-only monthly offering, taking place in Lambertville, NJ. Registration is included. Travel costs are not included. Topics covered include: content mapping for stage presentations, stagecraft, and the business of speaking mastery.
Receive an author profile page on SXSWbooks.com with a biography, headshot, and link to your book for purchase. If chosen as a SXSW speaker, you will also receive a personalized schedule profile page on SXSW.com.
Your book will be featured in the official SXSW bookstore at the SXSW Austin event. Additionally, you’ll be able to connect with prospective readers at a book signing event at the bookstore.
In addition to the amplification services included in the Standard package, SXSW Books Plus authors receive even more amplification opportunities. Each offering is design to help you reach a greater audience through a variety of valuable media assets.
Receive 12 blog posts to be added to the SXSWbooks.com blog over a maximum term of 12 months. Each post will contain between 500-700 words. Author will write and provide the initial draft of the article and will have the opportunity to review and approve each post prior to publication. We will support each blog post with a digital advertising boost campaign with up to $500 in ad spend for each post.
This includes a hosted interview in the SXSW Studio during SXSW Austin. The video will live digitally on SXSW video channels and can be distributed by speaker.
